上海虹桥开发区开发区概况 General situation

上海虹桥开发区1979年开始规划，1983年开始建设，是中国唯一以外贸中心为特征集展览、展示、办公、居住、餐饮、购物为一体的新兴商贸区和商务区。开发区还辟有驻沪领馆区。经过10多年的开发建设，目前开发区万商云集，商贸活动频繁，呈现出一派欣欣向荣的景象。九十年代被评为上海十大新夜景、新景观。

开发区由上海虹桥经济技术开发区联合发展有限公司统一负责开发建设和经营管理。

Planned in 1979 and started to construct in 1983, Shanghai Hongqiao Development Zone is China's exclusive newly developed commercial and business area characteristic of foreign trade and featured by exhibition, displaying, office, residence, catering and shopping. In the development zone, there are several plots allocated for foreign consulates in Shanghai to build their respective consulate premises. Through more than ten years' development and construction, now Hongqiao Development Zone is prospering with thousands of businessmen and frequent business and trade activities. In 1990s, the zone was elected as one of Shanghai's "ten new night views" and "ten new sceneries".

Shanghai Hongqiao Economic & Technological Development Zone United Development Co., Ltd. undertakes the overall development and management of the development zone.

地理位置优越 Advantageous Geographical Location

　　　 　·虹桥开发区位于上海市区西部，东起中山西路、西至古北路、北临仙霞、南界虹桥路，占地面积65.2公顷。

Hongqiao Development Zone is located in the west part of the urban area of Shanghai, to the east of Zhong Shan Road (W), west of Gu Bei Road, north of Xian Xia Road, south of Hong Qiao Road, with a total area of 65.2 hectares.

交通条件便利 Easy Transportation

　　　　　　·区内道路全部环通，区外临近内环线外环线和延安路高架道路，到虹桥国际机埸只有5.5公里。

All roads in the development zone are linked and circulated. The zone is located near Inner Ring Road, Outer Ring Road and Yan An Road Highduct, only 5.5 kilometers away from Hong Qiao International Airport. 　

基础设施完善 Complete Infrastructures

The development zone constructed four transformer substations to guarantee two lines of electricity supply, established Gu Bei Telephone Exchange Bureau to guarantee customers' requirements to install telecommunication equipments promptly, laid underground pipes and lines (water, electricity, gas, communication, also broadband system).

一站服务便利 Convenient One-stop Service

Relevant management and service institutions, finance, insurance and public service companies (custom, commodity inspection, public finance, taxation, insurance, bank, telephone & telecommunication, electricity supply, gas company, water company, express mail service company and etc.) set up offices in the development zone, formed management and service center to offer "one-stop" service to the enterprises in the zone.
